from Yorktown & have not taken time to wash off the dust

which I accumulated in my travels.  So being somewhat

tired I shall only write you a short note.  About the

Darlings I hope they are now well!   About Julia

If your suspicious be c? of course you must get

rid of her   the idea of having to send her off is very

Distressing, but it cannot be helped & we must bear

It as well as we can.  I hope it is not so however, but

Shall look about here for a nurse in case you cannot

get one there. It will be better for us to get me in

Warrenton if you can.  Inform me on this point.

I am heartily glad my Dear Annie that my letter

Has inspired such satisfaction & hope that I may

be able to fight a good fight in the spirit as well as in

the flesh.   And, you Dear Mother, your prayers have
