Yours No: 31 and its' usual enclosures have reached me this morning and I return the proper papers signed: I always make a point of answering you by the next Mail and the long and severe continuance of Westerly Wind has interrupted the communication between the two countries: I approve exceedingly of your answer to Jarrett of Kingston and of your arrangement respecting Strange who has only two Clerks under his charge: nothing can be more just than entirely withdrawing the candles and soap from Rimington and Hutt and equally correct is the reduction of candles to Podam: the servants have no right to complain and the bills will be reduced:
