This Deed of Conveyance, made and executed
at the _Ferry of Pine Bluff_, within
the County of _Jefferson_, in the State of Arkansas, this _14th_
day of _February_, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
_sixty_, by and from _Benjamin Houston_
of the County and State aforesaid, of the first part, hereto, unto, and with _J A Naddell
of the county of Fayette in the state of_
Tennessee_ part of the second party hereto:
WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the
sum of _five thousand_
Dollars, by the said party of the second part, at and before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents, unto _me_ in hand paid, the receipt whereof _I_ do hereby acknowledge,
have granted, bargained and sold, aliened and conveyed, and do hereby grant, bargain and sell, alien
and convey, unto the said party of the second part, the hereinafter described _tract_ or parcels
of land, namely :
_    Beginning at a stake on G P. Shieton's east
boundary line, and running North 80 degrees East 350
yards to a stake, thence North to a stake on John B.
Cobb's South boundary line, thence East with the
Boliow Road, 350 yards to a stake on Jesse H-
Cobb's North East corner, (Now the property of some other
person). Thence South 112 2/3 Poles to the beginning
containing Forty four acres more or less
lying and being in District N thirteen in
Fayette county. Tennessee in or near the Loron
of Lagrange._

TOGETHER, With all and singular the appurtences to the said premises belonging :
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, The above granted _tract_ of land and
premises, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, forever, against the lawful
claims of all persons whatsoever.

[crossed out]for, and on ___ part and behalf, do   hereby freely and fully "relinquish" and release,
[crossed out]unto the said part   of the second part, all ___ right and claim to Dower in and to the

hand, and affixed _his_ seal, at _Penn Bluff_ the day and
year hereinbefore first written.

On this _14th_ day of _February_, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and _sixty_, before me, _W. D. Johnson_
_Notary Public_, within and for the _county_
_of Jefferson_, ____, and State of
Arkansas, appeared in person, _Benjamin Houston_
to me personally known as the person whose name appear upon the within and foregoing
DEED OF CONVEYANCE, as ____ the party grantor, and stated
"that he had executed the same for the consideration and purposes therein mentioned and set forth;"
and I do so hereby certify.
[crossed out]And I further Certify, That, on this day, "voluntarily" appeared before me, _____
[crossed out]to me well known as the person whose name appear the within and foregoing
[crossed out]DEED OF CONVEYANCE, "and in the absence of he said husband, declared that
[crossed out]he had signed and sealed a relinquishment of Dower" therein expressed, "for the purposes therein
[crossed out]contained and set forth, without compulsion or undue influence of he husband."
    In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, as
    such _Notary Public_

    in the County and State aforesaid, on the day and year
    last aforesaid.
