My dearest Son. The 12 underlined th /underlined being aproaching which gave You birth & underline par consequence /underline ever dear to me, shall not pass without Your receiving a few Lines from me which are to convey my most Sincere congratulations upon the Occasion. My wishes are so uniformly the same from one year to another for Your wellfare, & my Affection so Unalteable which I bear You that a repetition of them would but deletion unclear /deletion prove tiresome to You as I am sure You cannot doubt them.
