I have had my interview with lady C. & fairly told Her of the accidental Conversation which happened in my room on Sunday Night, as also are mark of the unclear which I forgot to mention to You, how highly He approved of ldy Willoughby & Her Conduct in never having attempted to present Miss Dertie until he was married & He agreed with me that after this it would be improper to think of Presenting Miss Seimour. That is all that passed between her & me upon the Subject, for as we understod me another perfectly well I thought it better to drop that Subject. She talked with great delight of Yr goodness to Hisself & Family & expressed every possible attachment & affection for Yr Person. As to deletion unclear /deletion the proposal You make about the manner in which the unclear might be undeceived about the Suspicion of M. d. being Lrd. Ps, Daughter. I will fairly own as You wish me to unclear the Fourth, that You will oof
