at the reverse end of the stop which appears upon the periphery of the brass box it throws it into a spring ketch which gives liberty for the roller to return & by pressing a second knob on a nother part of the periphery of the brass box lets the spring stop into the ratch wheel as before.
On the outside of the round box & on the arbour of the roller is a square key to fit the winch & by turning the winch the reverse way will wind the work of the inner (or fixed) roller upon the nearer roller. -and by moveing the winch to the inner roller and winding forward will draw the work of the moveable roller upon the fixed roller. & also the whole frame into the table to be lockd. up. image
