My Dear Sir,

There are certain things in life, which, by their character, bind persons by more kindly ties than would the ordinary intercourse of years of simple acquaintance - Such is your refined courtesy, and your true hospitality, extended to my wife. Ask of the ladies of your family that they will permit me to include them, most respectfully, in my allusion above.

I need, scarcely, assure you, my dear Sir, that I most warmly accept, and most profoundly appreciate, the kindness of yourself, and family, which makes me long to take you, and them, by the hand.

My brother-in-law's long sickness, has, no doubt, give him the greater pleasure of in person, expressing his appreciation.

With the sentiments already expressed - allow me, kind sir, to style myself most truly
