I send you two prisoners belonging to the 13th Ohio(??). They were taken near Powell's mountain, they say that they are deserters and were making their way to Gawly Bridge. I will repeat the suggestion I made yesterday in reference to the Cavalry, I wish at least one more Company.
From the best informative I can get, I don't think that [?] in more [?] 2000 men at at [?] with 3 pieces of Artillery,
