After addition talking of /addition so many Melancholy families, do I with a very gratfull heart return to my underline own happy Family /underline, and return You my sincere thanks for the agreeable accounts of the dear Childrens health, i greatly admire Elizabeth steadiness in going into the Sea when she found the thought of it disagreeable & horrible it is that power over herself in which i trust she will feel hereafter great comfort in life, you will her i am sure great merit in feeling so much, saying nothing, & yet doing what was right. as to the two little Angels underline Sophia /underline & underline Octavius /underline i could almost cry with them, and am not above owing my weakness that i feel happy in not being a Spectator when they are about that dreadful operation of bathing. as you do not say any thing about Yourself i rest satisfied that the sight of the See satisfys You and that Sir Noah Thomas advice hath not been thought necessary to determine You against not bathing, Miss Hamilton i flatter myself does not follow Your example, particularly as Dr Turton told me but the day before
