be made for securing our Religion Laws & Libertyes & therefore enacts severall particulars addition some /addition relating to the Sovereign, his Comunion wh ye established Church. his not going abroad his Power of pardoning Impechmts one to his Dominons abroad, yt that this Nation should not be ingaged in a War for ye Defence of them, Others with relation to ye Judges, & to fforeigners, & one to Persons having offices, to make them incapable of serving as Members of ye House of Commons. And then it declares ye Laws to be ye Birthright of ye People, & yt all the Kings & Queens of this Realm ought to administer ye Governmt according to ye same.

The Scotch Act above mentioned additionwhich was to be part of ye foundation of the Union /addition requires ye deletion King /deletion Sovereign at his accession to ye Crown to swear to maintain he Establishmt in that Act

The English Act preliminary to ye Union that the Sovereign at his Coronation, shall take & subscribe an oath to maintain & preserve inviolable ye Settlemt of ye Church of England as by Law established.
