Whereas We have thought fit to Nominate and appoint Our Trusty and Welbeloved Charles Montagu Esqr. to be Our Auditor General during Our Pleasure. Our Will and Pleasure therefore is, that You pay or cause to be paid without Fee or Deduction unto the said Charles Montagu or his Assigns the yearly Sum of Two Hundred Pounds. The same to Commence from Christmas last, and from thence to be paid Quarterly at the four most usual Feasts in the Year Vizt Lady day, Midsummer, Michaelmas and Christmas by equal Portions. And for so doing This being first Enter'd with Our said Auditor General shall be as well to You for Payment as to him for image Allowance thereof on your Accounts a sufficient Warrant. Given at Leicester House the First Day of January 1742 In the Sixteenth year of the Reign of Our Royal Father the King.
