I left Huntersville the first
day of october for the warm
Springs a distance of 25 miles.
We arrived at that place on
the second day of Oct at night.
We stayed all night and the
next morning was ordered on
to Rock Allum as that place
was filled up. We arrived
at Rock Allum the 5th day
of October 1861. On Sunday
evening it commenced
raining in a few minutes
after we got here and rain
ed verry hard until night.
There were 11 of our company
