It is now divided into 9 Circles viz. Austria, Bavaria, Swabia Franconia, Upper Rhine, Lower Rhine, Upper Saxony, Lower Saxony, & Westphalia.

ye. Circle of Austria is bounded on ye. N. by Bohemia & Moravia; on ye. E. by Hungary; on ye. S. by Italy; & on ye. W. by Bavaria. It contains 4 provinces foreign:Latin viz. /foreign ye. ArchD-y of Austria, Stiryna, Carniola & Corinthia; & ye. County of Tyrol & Bish-ks of Brixe, & Trent.

This Circle is very fruitful, producing good arable, & good pasture land.

ye. Principal Rivers in this Circle are, ye. Danube, on which Vienna ye. Capital is built, ye. Drave, ye. Muer, & ye. Save.

Bavaria is bounded on ye. N. by Bohemia; on ye. E. by Austria & Bohemia; on ye. S. by Austria & on ye. W. by Swabia & Franconia. It consists of ye. Elec. of Bavaria's dominions, & of those of ye. Archb. of Saltsburgh, & of ye. Bish-s of Passaw, Ratisbon, & Freisingen.

Tho' this Circle is full of Mountains & Forests yet it has some fine pasture & Corn, & but little Wine; ^ addition underline where also /underline /addition there are some Gold, Silver, & Copper Mines.

Franconia is bounded on ye. N. addition ye. /addition by Upper Rhine, & ye. Upper Saxony; on ye. E. by Bavaria; on ye. S. by Swabia; & on ye. W. by ye. Lower Rhine.

It contains ye. Bish-cks. of Wirtzbourg, Bamberg & Aichstet, ye. Jurisdiction of ye. Teutonick order, Nuremberg, ye. Counties of Stenneberg, Holae, Erpach Schwartzenberg & c. ye. Marquisates of Anspach & Bareith. There is but little arable land here tho what there is, is good, as well as Pasture, & Wines ye. Rivers are ye. Mein, ye. Kednitez, & ye. Altmot.
