Sweden is bounded on ye. N. by Norwegian Lapland; on ye. E. by Russia; on ye. S. by ye. Baltick & on ye. W. by Denmark & Norway.

It extends from ye. 56th. to ye. 69th. Deg. of N. Lat. & from ye. 10th. to ye. 30th. Deg. of Long. but within these bounds is included Finland which was totally conquer'd by ye. Russians, but since ye. last peace betwix't these two Powers, 5 of ye. Provinces have been restor'd

There are a considerable ridge of Mountains, call'd ye. Dofrine Hills yt. divided this K-m from Norway, deletion these /deletion are ^ addition underline generally cover'd with snow; there are /underline /addition others in different parts, which makes a disagreable appearance, from whence numberless Rivers take their rise, but on account of ye.
