In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.

The first day He created Light and divided it from Darkness. the former He called Day, the latter Night.

The Second day He made the firmament and called it Heaven.

The Third day He gathered together the Waters under Heaven into one place, and let the dry Land appear, this He called Earth and the Waters, Seas; the Earth brought forth Grass, the Herb yielding Seed and the Fruit tree yielding fruit.

The fourth day He made the Sun to rule the day, the Moon to rule the Night, and also the Starrs.

The fifth day He created the Birds and every other Insect which dwells in the Air; also every sort of Fish that lives in the Seas.

The Sixth day He created the Beasts, and every creeping thing that inhabits the Earth, and also God created Man in His own image, and gave him dominion over the Fish of the Sea and over the fowl of the Air and over the Cattle, and over all the Earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth on the Earth.
