I receivd your letter my dearest freind as I allways doe with the greatest satisfaction. nothing is more kind that your care for me me acknowledgemnet shall never dye before me. there is reason to value such as you. who never cease doeing good. & maintain your character. you know my dear Clayton my sentiments & the Prince's upon this subject. as to you I begin to be jealous, & your good sense will goe beyond my wishes. He order'd me to say, He esteem'd you more than any woman. has not the Prince made a good beginning. He will look over your letters himself not trusting me. I love the honest good man more then ever. the Plebeian has contributed much to it. we drank his health last night. his paper we then receiv'd was delightfull, the Prince has it by heart. I have nothing to add, but that I am very uneasy for fear you are not well in that none has a greater share of concern than your tender.
