Dear Sir,

Your No: 16 reached me yesterday which I could not answer till this morning being so much engaged about my ball which went off last night as well as possible.

I have perfect confidence in Elphick and Coates but it is singular I should have written to Barton in the very same terms respecting Allen as you have to me: I wish therefore you and Barton to talk seriously to Padley concerning the underline Kitchen /underline Gardens at Bushy: the underline Pleasure /underline Ground is compleat and underline must /underline be kept: I underline cannot /underline reside at Bushy till underline next /underline November and tho' I wish South Audley Square supplied with fruit and vegetables yet I want the Kitchen Garden arranged
