Dear Sir,

Dear Sir,

Revision as of 11:28, 4 June 2019

Altenstein July 28th: 1826.

Dear Sir, I will endeavour tho' still weak to answer Yours of 26th June and 3d and 16th instant. I am glad Mrs Oak is returned and altogether approve of the leave you gave to Turrell. Lord Erroll I am afraid will never see his Stables again. The crops of hay must be light but I trust they will be excellent. In the East Front the Creepers may be removed. But in the West Front I now recollect they are hardly worth preserving. In the South they must be taken especial care of. I understand the Sidneys with Lady Westmeath were at Bushy and I hope for his own sake Augustus will be steady with Mr: Merewether.
