Dear Sir,
I have of course recieved Yours of yesterday and its' various enclosures: I return signed the Farm and Garden account: I think Elphick is clear and regular: tho' I have a good opinion of the care and attention of Mrs: Oak I think she might go over the house oftener: I did not myself pay my visit in the rooms latterly as I ought and perceived dirt accumulating: I am afraid Slade has many enemies: but my opinion is clearly in favour of him: our weather except Sunday has been fine over head: but the wind very harsh: today is very mild: I supposed tho the hay
