Dear Ld Delaware,
I found your letter here & immediately saw Prince Albert upon it.
His Royal Highness was surprised at the dinner part of the business what he had understood was not to take place - Lady Gainsborough Lady Alicia Gordon & Miss unclear I had understood were to lodge & before leaving Windsor I had given every necessary order respecting them & even requested Lady Lyttleton who remains at the Castle to pay Ldy A.G. & Miss unclear every attention in her power
Upon full consideration however his R.H. is of opinion that there should be a dinner or set out repast in the Tapestry room next to the Vandyke room in the state apartments this will prevent any of these persons being mixed up catchword with /catchword
