Sir

The King did not sleep yesterday but His Majesty pass'd the whole day in tranquillity and cheerfulness.

His Majesty slept five hours and a half last night at three several times and we have no difficulty in believing that His Majesty is contented, nay happy, today from the nature of the amusements, which He is planning and directing.

I am, Sir, most respectfully, your Royal Highness' faithful Servant

Henry Halford
