Sir

The King continues in the same state of tranquillity and comfort which we have had occasion to report so constantly of late. His Majesty slept more than two hours in the course of yesterday, and four hours and a quarter last night. His Majesty's appearance and manner are perfectly satisfactory to us this morning.

I am, Sir, most respectfully your Royal Highness faithful Servant

Henry Halford
