Let us Act with cool prudence, & with ^ addition manly /addition temper As well as manly firmness

'Tis godlike magnanimity to keep (When most provok'd) our reason calm & clear, And Execute her will from a strong sense Of what is right, without the vulgar aid Of heat & passion, which tho' honest, --bears us Often too far.--

A noble temper shines thro' his fault and gilds underline them /underline into Virtue.--
