The Evening was beautiful, the Bell of the Village tolled, & converted the whole Country round into a Temple, & feelings Equally connected with sadness & with happiness glistend in the Eyes of my loved Boy--alas his ductile ^ addition mind /addition impressive as wax, & ^ addition his /addition sensitive heart alive to all emotions was overcome, & he almost knelt in underline adoration & love /underline of his gt Creator.
