This Prince had two Sons, ^ addition on /addition whose death Jane Daughter of the Youngest obtain'd the Diadem; Her Mother secretly carry'd Her off, & marry'd Her to Phillip le Bel K. of France; who gave but little attention to this Kingdom; & his son Lewis le Hutin still less; His only daughter A. 1316. espous'd Pilip head of the House of Evreux, who was descended from Lewis Philip le Hardi's third son; the House of Evreux extinguishing A. 1425. on the death of Charles III. K. of Navarre, whose daughter Marry'd Martin K. of Scicilly, & on his demise Alphonso K. of Arragon; Eleonora the surviving Issue of this Marriage espous'd Gaston Count of Foix; Francis of Foix Her Gradson succeeded Her; His Mother Magdelena of France, & Cardinal Peter of Foix were Regents, He being a Minor; on his death they remain'd in this office during the first Years of his sister Catherine's Reign; She marry'd John Albert Countof Perigord, Leinoges, & Dreux, in hopes of gaining some assistance
