This day I enter'd upon My New Office at His Majesty's Levee at St. James's Palace
My Predecessor in monthly waiting soon 'spied Me in the Croud, & by his looks seem'd from a distance to bid Me welcome.
My Brother Charles attended Me to the Levee, & having got near His Majesty, We were amused by a long conversation He held with a Naval Officer -- The topic was on Ships & on their different rates-- Much was said on the new 38 Gun Frigates one of which this Officer commanded --
