this time We had the honor of seeing Their Majesties & The Royal Family who were now in the Court before the Lodge.

      There We made our Bows & had a very

gracious reception.

      Their Majesties were here in their Way to

the Terrace, which was now filled with Company of various description, assembled to see & pay their respects to The Royal Family. The appearance of the whole was gay & cheerful & the Promenade was improved by the alternate Music of Two Bands, The one of which was The King's, & The other belonged to Lord Fauconbergs fine Regiment of Yorkshire Volunteers, at this time doing The duty at Windsor Castle.

       From The Terrace Their Majesties &

Royal Family adjourned to the Castle, & drank Tea.
