We retired about Ten oClock from the Kings apartments to our Supper below Stairs . After which The Prince of Wales paid Us a short Visit--

Saturday Augst. 4th.

I rose at Six oClock, & at 7 I went to The Stable to wait for His Majesty but who did not come there this Morning.

Returning to The Queen's Lodge I made a short breakfast, & was on horseback by 8 o'clock in attendance on H.My.

Going by Old Windsor through Staines We came on Ashford Common where The Blues were drawn up in Review Order.
