short ride in the Great Park--

He was so good as to lend Me for this Ride his Chesnut Horse underline White Stockings /underline, the same which He had rode at the Review of the Blues this day on Ashford Common-- and this acquaintance, was preparatory to My riding Him on Tuesday next to the same place, HM: having signified His pleasure that He will review the Blues again a second time on that day- & that I should then ride this Horse--

Came home to dress, and dined at our usual hour a underline little after Three oClock /underline.

After dinner The Prince of Wales came into The Equerries Room & did Us the honor of sitting with Us some time, & partaking of our Wine.
