Since I wrote the other page, this day has turned out so very beautifull, that I have taken a very fine drive in the spare Carriage, and since that have walked in my own lovely Garden -- Every thing looks Clean, and refreshed by the rain, and the Thames has recovered its beauty for it was quite underline dull and low /underline -- and it was looking full, and many pleasure boats upon it, even the underline Eton boys /underline were playing Cricket in the playfields -- I am ashamed to say that I cannot recollect the name of the French book, addition it was /addition either a life or a Story which you kindly recommended me to read.
