Since I wrote the other page, this day has turned out so very beautifull, that I have taken a very fine drive in the spare Carriage, and since that have walked in my own lovely Garden -- Every thing looks unclear, and refreshed by the rain, and the Thames has resumed its beauty for it was quite dull and low - and it was lookig full, and many pleasure boats upon it, even the Eton boys were playing Cricket in the playfields -- I am ashamed to say that I cannot recollect the name of the French book, addition it was /addition either a life or a Story which you kindly recommended me to read. I shall thank you to name it when you are so kind as to write to me. I hope you are both quite well. The Castle is looking Magnificent just now from my own little Sanctum. I still look forward of the Weather is literally fine to the happiness of seeing you both here addition next Spring /addition. I can promise you that the House is as warm as toast. Your .... a chalet to the South, and you shall do every thing you please from Morning till Night.

Adieu My kind Dear friends I hope to hear from

you soon. Ever your most faithfully attached

                        Augusta

I cannot end this till tomorrow having forgot that Saturday is a Postless Night in the Country - Sept 10th I have had the happiness of receiving a most kind letter from you today for which I say thank you with all my Heart and I will answer it in a few days.
