Octr 27th. So far I wrote Yesterday when Mary sent for me to show Her Garden to some Company who came unexpectedly and although She is quite well and walks much better than last year She is not quite as unclear on Her feet as I am She deputed me to walk where Her little Garden Chair cannot get access to. It is a constant pleasure to see this lovely place improve so fast. I fact it only wanted the Woods to be cleared when the Duke of Gloucester got the place many years ago but as Shooting is His Greatest Object here He naturally simply attended to what would increase Shelter for Game.
