Frogmore House July 25th. 1827.

My Dear kind friends

It seems an Age since I had the pleasure of hearing of you both and Sincerely hope you can give me a unclear account of yourselves. I am ever much engaged in devoting Myself to my Sister that I really have scarcely time to do anything but underline work /underline in Her room. She has been very suffering indeed from St Anthonys fire, and was confined to Her Dressing room for near a fortnight. Now She enjoys the drives in the Open Carriage every Evening at four o Clock in the Park or the beautifull surrounding Country. It is a pleasure to us Her underline constant /underline Good humour and cheerfullness under such underline constant /underline inconvenience for She never is free from underline that /underline odious complaint though at times it is not so severe She is always employed in working, reading, drawing or writing --so that the underline time /underline unclear in illness does not appear to weigh on Her Mind --. Since last Friday my Sister Mary has joined us in that She unclear is literally what the Common people call check fall.
