and no Man was ever more attached to his Profession than He is. He goes to Portsmouth next Sunday and then on Monday on to Plymouth, where he is to present the Colours to the Division of Royal Marines in that Port in the Kings Name. Since last week I have begun to take up my Music again, and on thursday William dined with me, and though lady Mary Taylor was able to sing She could not play having hurt her Hand - so we had some of my favorite Irish Melodies and unclear Ballads which we like better than any thing else. and then I played to amuse William every Paddy tune I could think of.
