a walk but He was detained a little by Mr Palmer, the Cutler, who had at his request been sent for - It was indeed quite new to Me to see H:My occupied as He now was, in looking at various Cases of Razors which were on the Table before Him - He took up one of these Cases & which He was pleased most kindly, to give Me -

This & The Chancellor's Visit allowed Him but a short walk of about an hour - Dr. John Willis had told Me, that He wished I would walk with The King this day, adding that it would please Him, & it was on this Account that I was in H:Mys Apartment when Mr Palmer was with Him, being there to be in readiness to attend Him in his Walk

During this Walk I had full opportunity of making My observation on the degree of amendment H:My had made since I deletion spoke to Him on 27th of Janry-

At first He appeared to Me to be somewhat hurried - He touched upon circumstances of the day on which He had been removed from Windsor to Kew -- He recollected these well, & talked of Them with a good humoured Countenance. tho' the recollection was unpleasing to Him; for He added, underline "that was indeed a Very disagreeable day" /underline Then turning to Me He said, underline "for Gods sake tell Me, how long "You knew of My removal before it took place" /underline I thought it proper to answer this question with reserve & told Him, underline "I certainly knew that it was wished /underline
