room -- On Seeing Them his agitation increased, &, perceiving Dr. Warren He instantly desired He would get out of the Room & on his not retiring He jumped out of bed to go to Him.

I laid hold of H.Mys. Arm, & with some of the Attendant Pages stopped Him - On this He returned to his bed --

The Physicians now with Earnestness & calmness urged Him to get up & dress Himself, as His Carriage was waiting for Him to carry Him to Kew -- The King however persisted in obstinate refusal, & He was Entreated to no purpose.

On this a firmer Tone was assumed & He was plainly told, underline that He must go /underline, or that other means must be resorted to ------ Still He answered that He would not go, and asked if they meant to force Him. Goldsworthy would be ready to attend Him likewise.

On this He said He would get up if The Physicians would go away - They retired, & We press'd Him to dress -- He linger'd & on some pretence or other delay'd -- We then told Him that he must not forget that He had given his promise to his Physicians to get up, if they retired - that in consequence they had retired, & We were confident He would on his part make good his promise to Them
