His book upon Natural History dedicated to P. R. then we went up Stairs & saw all my Jewels packed up. at 8 the Kg came, we drank Tea & played at Cards till 1/4 past 10. then Supped & retired by 11. Our party was The Duchess of Leeds Ldy Bath, Lrd Aylesford, Mrs Howe Sr William Howe, Ldy Chesterfield, Ldy Charlotte Curzon. Ldy Elgin Ldy Ely. we begun Our mourning to Day.
Thursday 19th.
The Kg went to unclear. I dressed for Court. at 11. I saw Mr Thomas Willis. at one we went to St James the Kg came soon after Us. 1/4 past 2. we went to the Drawingroom the P. of W. & D of Clarence were both there. we returned to the Queens House by 5. Dined, after Coffe went up Stairs and worked till 8
