Then they declar'd ye. Petition several Lds. & Comm. had given him, tho out of Parl., when only D. of Gloucester, as valid as if presented in Parl. A purport of it had been to declare Ed. IV. marriage with Lady Gray void, & consequently their Children illegitimate, & ^ addition underline ye. D. of /underline /addition Clarence's uncapable of succeeding to ye. Crown; which they then settl'd on him & his Heirs, & declar'd his Son Heir apparent, who died before his father's unhappy End. ye. next Act made was ye. attainder of of ye.
