Among the rest he stripp'd William the son of Stephen of all that had been granted him by his father & left him nothing but what belonged to his family before Stephens accession to the Crown. This was contrary to treaty & a breach of faith: but the sequal of this Princes reign will shew that he paid very little regard to his word when it stood in the way of his intrest.
