I have a problem with distinguishing between second and third conjugation infinitives as I have no symbol to represent the e with a convex mark above it, as in the first item listed here. I have decided to use an e with a concave symbol, ĕ, which enables me to be consistent, and to distinguish between this and ē the stress symbol used in second conjugation infinitives - see abstergeo, ursi ēre, item 14 on this page.
