Hond. Sir,

It is with the greatest Pleasure that myself and Wife return you sincere Thanks for the Favors which you have lately shewn us: It will be a great Help to us in our old Age. We shall never be able to make you Amends for your Goodness: I heartily wish we could. My Wife has not enjoyed her Health since the Decease of her Daughter. I received the Sum of Seventy Five Pounds and Thirteen Shillings last Wednesday from the Sturminster and Dorsetshire Bank, which I understand is the last Payment on Account of my late Daughter's Effects &c. My Wife would be very happy to spend a few Days with you , but she is not able to take so great a Journey. I was informed by Mr. Ensor that you sent my Wife two Bottles of the Essence of Ginger, but she received only one of the them. I was also informed that you sent my Wife the Picture of my late Daughter in a gold Frame which she never received; but my Wife would wish to have it. May Health, and Happiness attend you. I am,
