ye. 1st of May 1693. who were to be entitl'd from yt. time to ye. 24th of June 1700 to ye. yearly sum of £100,000 yt. is 10. per Cent; & after ye. 24th of June. 1700. to £70,000. only, or 7. pr. Cent, & yt. till ye. Survivors were reduc'd to sell, after which ye. publick was to have ye. benefit of each survivors death; & it ye. whole sum was not contributed, then ye. contributors before ye. said 1st of May were entitl'd only to such proportions of ye. £100,000. & £70,000. as answer'd to their contributions; but these advantages were only given ye. contributors before ye. said 1st of May, & in case ye. whole sum was not contributed before then, ye. residue was suffer'd to be contributed till Michaelmas following upon ye. terms of life annuities, without survivorships, at ye. rate of 14. per Cent; & such as had contributed before ye. said 1st of May were allow'd to opt if willing ye. second conditions in which case ye. benefit of survivorship went to ye. publick & not to ye. rest of ye. class.
