Meiningen.

May 14th: 1825.

Dear Sir,

By a letter I have this morning received from George there appears some difficulty in forwarding my letters from England. I have not heard from you since 18th April and I must request you will regularly send up the Bushy accounts in as small a packet as you can make them in order to be forwarded by the Mail on this side of the water. The letters from the servants' wifes at Bushy to their husbands cannot take up much room and may therefore come under cover to me.

We have had three weeks of the most beautiful weather : but since the day before yesterday absolute winter has returned.
