Sir

The King slept two hours and a quarter after breakfast yesterday, and pass'd the whole of the day very quietly and well. His Majesty did not sleep more than an hour and a half in the night, but He is now asleep in His chair. His Majesty's countenance looks clear and healthy.

I am, Sir, most respectfully your Royal Highness' faithful Servant

Henry Halford
