That fine Regiment made an Excellent Review - His Majesty was much pleased Them, & staid with Them from 9 o'clock 'till near 12--The day was very hot--
Returnd with His Majesty to The Queen's Lodge on Horseback--
On the road back, as well as on the road to the Review, I was honored with much kind conversation- That on coming from Ashford Common included the greatest portion of various subjects - & here He talked to Me of underline My Father /underline, of whom He said many flattering things; He Enquired much also of My Election at Warwick &c &c--
