My Dear Lord

I have at length succeeded in procuring a few of the Red Potatoes. I heard of them in underline December /underline and got Lord Harcourt to write to a Gentleman who has kindly sent one of the two Sorts. The underline vulgar Country underline name /underline for them is underline Lords /underline and underline ladies /underline -- and both are Excellent but underline one of them is better for Roasting than the other but which I cannot exactly tell. I send them as I have received them underline that /underline is to say underline fairly divided /underline between underline your Garden and mine /underline & I hope you will underline plant them /underline after having underline tasted /underline a few Next year Cl Moorhead will send me any quantity I like and I will not forget underline you /underline You may depend underline upon me. /underline
