H.My, paid his usual Visit this Evening to The Queen up stairs -- It lasted about 3 hours -- on his return He spoke to Us in the Antiroom Where We were waiting for Him. As last night He was in good spirits, & tho' nothing that could be called an Impropriety passed, I did not like his manner quite so well as I had done the preceding Night -- I found that General Gordon was also of the same opinion with Me -

I am more & more convinced that the present is a very nice period in H.Mys. approaching recovery, & nothing I dread more than his being brought forward too soon. But I trust every thing will be conducted cautiously.

From the little I have heard of his Conversation during this day, I must think that underline shades /underline Exist still. Colonel Digby saw Him for a little time in the Garden as The Queen was returning with Him from his Walk. He talked to Him of making Him his Aid de Camp, & of bringing Him into The Army again.

He had also some remaining coolness towards General Goldsworthy, for not Executing his Orders in the beginning of his Illness at Windsor. This at times had dwelt with Him afterwards, & it was not this day forgot.

These tho' they are slight symptoms, I cannot quite overlook.
