note Thursday 23d /note The Kg received a Letter from the Duke of York in which he acquaints the Kg of having heard the intention of offering the Command to the D of Brunswic, saying that He was ready to serve if that was the Case, but this is not an answer to the Kgs Letter upon this subject.
