Sentence was given against Tho. Mortimer, who had been impeach'd tho he did not appear. ye. Speaker petition'd ye. K. in ye. name of ye. Commons yt. ye. greatest security should be given for ye proceedings of this parlay. as different Parlia. had often revers'd what had been done in former one's.

ye. Lds. said yt. they had sworn to keep all ye. Statutes yt. had been made, which as much as lay'd in their power, they intended to keep.

They then granted ye. K. a half tenth, & a half fifteenth, with a whole tenth & fifteenth, & ye. duty on Wool & c for life.
