Sir The King pass'd a great part of yesterday in sleep - having slept nearly six hours in the course of the day. We were not surprised therefoe this morning to learn that His Majesty had not slept more than half an hour in the night.

continues in a state of tranquillity and contentment. His Majesty talks in a very cheerful manner, and makes appointments and arrangements all day long without the slightest apparent consciousness of His disordered condition of mind.

His Majesty is engaged this morning in reviewing troops, and making various appointments, and seems to be contented and happy.
